Post-First Workout Recovery Email

 

This is a touch that I rarely see trainers and studio owners take advantage of, a post-first workout congratulations and recovery advice email. In my opinion, this document serves two main purposes:

  1. A new client’s first workout can be intimidating, scary and intense. By sending your clients a check in and well branded celebratory email after their first session, you are setting the bar for the upcoming level of support that you will be providing to them throughout the journey ahead with you.

  2. New client’s will often have higher levels of muscle soreness than expected after workout number one. This email let’s them know that this is to be expected and gives them some excellent advice on how to maneuver through their recovery.

I recommend scheduling this email to arrive in their inbox first thing in the morning after their first session with you.
